And I've been his fan since I watched Gladiator 7 years ago on TV.
He has tried all kinds of styles movies.I think he is "All-round director".
It sounds a little strange because now many young people like Nolan,Fincher,or....
I'm 29. This year I will be 30.
His style is MODERN so his fans are from ALL AGES. His movies are FAST-PACED too so his general style is way younger than his real age.

I am also 29, turning 30 this year. Ridley Scott is my favorite director of all time because he is such a great visionary. He has so much talent and is extraordinary at his craft. I could listen to his commentaries all day and not tire hearing him talk of the effort and dedication that goes into each one of his films.

Another 29 (will be 30 soon) year old Ridley Scott fan here. :)
A lot of Ridley Scott films are my all-time favourite, particularly Gladiator, Alien, Blade Runner especially.
... also for the fact that Ridley grew up in my hometown (Stockton), and that Blade Runner landscapes are massively inspired from Teesside. ;)
