- Kurt played Elvis Presley in the John Carpenter film ELVIS
- There is a bust of Elvis in Kurt's trailer in the Robert Zememckis film USED CARS
- He co-starred with Val Kilmer in the film TOMBSTONE - Kilmer also portrayed Elvis in the movie TRUE ROMANCE
- Kurt provided the voice of Presley in the Zemeckis film FORREST GUMP
- Kurt played an Elvis Presley impersonator in the film 3000 Miles to Graceland

Paul Brinegar (Rawhide)guest-starred in The Quest, which starred Kurt and Tim Matheson as brothers searching for their kidnapped sister in the old west. Paul acted in one of Elvis's better movies, Charro!
