It's weird if you think about it.

Not that she wasn't brilliant in both movies. Just... it's funny how casting works out sometimes. :)

Estelle Getty is one year older than Bea Arthur. Estelle Getty portrayed Sophia "Ma" Petrillo who was the mother of Dorothy Zbornak (née Petrillo), the character played by Getty's senior Bea Arthur.
