Your fave Crispin Glover character?

Mine is and will always be Jimbo from FRIDAY THE 13th: THE FINAL CHAPTER due to the Dead *beep* dance.

It is definitely Jimbo from Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. His enthusiasm in shooting his death scene and the dance he does, that Joseph Zito found him doing in a club prior to casting him for the role, makes this his best role.

I'm torn between Layne, Willard, and his character in Whats Eating Gilbert Grape (where he played the town mortician.)

George McFly and Willard.

I'm gonna have to say Bartleby. You have this character, with no real background, whose dialogue consists almost entirely of different reiterations of one line ("I'd prefer not to.")... and he just brings so much depth to it.
He bestows a very tangible humanity to a character who was essentially a plot device.

His childlike, arguably sympathetic portrayal of Grendel in the Zemeckis/Gaiman bastardisation is also a stand-out.

...and of course Mr. Farr.
