But her bio page here at IMDb states she was born in America.
What the hell, she certainly looks Irish to me... Is she of Irish or Celtic ancestry?
Am I cuckoo or does anyone agree?

I often get asked if I'm Irish by strangers so it must be the typically Celtic traits (pale skin, reddish hair and freckles) that make my face 'look Irish'. My friend has pale skin and very blonde hair and is often mistaken as being Scandinavian.

It's not wildly off the mark to say someone 'looks Irish'.
