i know, i know, it's none of my business and it doesn't matter, BUT...

in the last couple years it seems brad is down a couple teeth. does anybody know what happened? is it just a simple matter of getting older? they seem to have been missing for a while now, and i guess it's not hurting his career since the kinds of characters he usually plays don't need the hollywood smile, and he's been getting plenty of work despite not having them replaced. i was just curious. i dare say he can afford to have them fixed, and it seems like that would make chewing easier, but maybe he just thinks it looks cool. who knows?

Actually, good oral hygiene matters tremendously and is everyone's business.

I haven't noticed this about Brad, but generally tooth loss is the result of bad oral hygiene or possibly accidents. Have you noticed this from his films or from photos of him in real life? Are they his front teeth? They must be, if you are able to notice it, and I agree that he could afford to get them fixed.

Regardless, as you said, Brad plays a lot of characters where toothlessness is entirely appropriate.

Brads about half way through, at first i thought his missing teeth was a joke for this video, but they made no reference to it, so i guess they truly are falling out.

regardless... brads one of the best.

Wow, that is rather odd and amazing. It's interesting it's the same teeth on either side. Would those be the canine teeth, or the ones inward from those? I still wonder if it's part of the joke, just like him thinking they directed "Lord of the Rings" a bizarro touch that is rather subtle. But maybe he really is missing those teeth. At least I'm glad he hasn't gotten the distracting phony veneers that so many actors have.

Regardless, there's no question he's one of the finest actors working today.

OK, I've just watched "Humboldt County" and compared the "missing" tooth in that promo with the "missing" tooth in the film. Sometimes it's on the left, and sometimes on the right.

I don't know whether they flopped the image (I doubt it) or committed a continuity error (more likely), but I think this was just done with makeup. Or maybe Brad's missing two of his front teeth and uses fakes for both at various times. More likely, though, this is just for the film.

Has anyone seen him toothless in other images, not from "Humboldt County"?
