Always struck me as the quintessential proletarian dumbass jerk.
I'm about the same age as him, maybe a year younger, and I recall seeing him for the first time in "My Bodyguard". He was perfect in that role as the low-class meathead bully. He had the EXACT same look and demeanor as many of the guys who filled that role in my own middle and high school years in the late 70s and early 80s. Something about his face makes him perfectly cast as a trashy, arrogant bully.
