shareit's really unfortunate that davis and sarandon split the vote that year because i think either of them deserved to win more than jodie foster. i disagree though with your assessment about susan sarandon having the dominant role. scene for scene i think geena davis is actually in the film more, even tho sarandon's character might be driving the plot a bit more and the more developed character. it wouldnt have made sense to put one in the supporting category they really were both lead roles.
