Sharon Stone should have won...
for Casino. This bug eyed hag's winning performance as Sister Helen (complete with phony accent) will go down as one of the biggest ripoffs in Oscar history.

shareSharon who?
shareYES-Sharon was GREAT in Casino. Ebert said so himself, but Also predicted Susan would Win for "Dead Man Walking."
The Oscars are Socialistic-they go with a "Body of Work."
Like Susan Lucci of Soap Opera fame, Ms. Sarandon was nominated MULTIPLE Times. She was ROBBED of one in "Atlantic City" (Too Young-not a Fixture yet) and Doubly Robbed by not even being Nominated for "Bull Durham."
In "Thelma and Louise" her and Geena were BOTH Considered Leading Costars. I never COULD Figure That one out-I thought Susan had the Dominant Role for most of the Movie.
And she was Hauntingly Great in "Lorenzo's Oil" but not enough folks Saw it.
She is NOT a "Hag" you Troll.
She is GREAT!
A Bit Radical, even for MY Taste-but still Great.
The only thing the bug eyed hag won prior to the Oscar was the SAG award. She won NO critics awards and Sharon Stone won the Golden Globe. Her performance in Casino just about knocks you out of your seat.
shareShe is a bug eyed hag. And you think she was so great in Lorenzo's Oil--atrocious performance.
shareThen how do you account for Susan's long and lucrative career, in this notoriously looks-centered industry?
Long career? Well maybe, but in the last 10 years she's been reduced to playing Melissa McCarthy's grandmother and playing 3rd banana in that blockbuster Mr. Woodcock. Her last Oscar nomination was in 1995.
shareShe is also the star of a current movie "The Meddler". Maybe her career is on the wane, but that is equally true of Sharon Stone.
