Met her once

In 2000 I worked at a Wal-Mart in upstate New Jersey, and Mimi went through my line. I didn't realize it at first because of how busy we were and the rush of customers... she was with her daughter and her friend, and they were buying a bunch of stuff (among which was an outdoor playhouse for the daughter). She was really sweet and when she rushed out to the car (it was pouring), I asked her friend if it really was her, and it was. I said if I'd had the courage I would've asked for her autograph. Well, 5 minutes after the friend left the store Mimi came running back in, wet, and signed an autograph on a piece of register tape for me, and did it all with a smile.

She's a really sweet woman.
