It was around 12 mid on Halloween morning for me. Just getting ready for a Halloween park party the next morning. It was the talk of the day for us.
I think you mean 23 years ago. I was 13, in the 8th grade. I think I was at home when I heard. The days following his death, I bought a few magazines that had him on the cover with the story of his death inside. I cut out a bunch of his photos and the articles and put them in a binder as a kind of memorial. Then 6 months later was shocked again by the death of Kurt Cobain! 8th grade was kinda rough.
