2017 - Pfeiffer comeback year

So IMDb are now listing all her projects for 2017 release. I'm guessing Wizard of Lies will be 1st in early 2017 and hopefully BULS will make its debut at Sundance with a release towards the end of the year and Aronofsky's project was rumoured for a Dec release.

Which project are people most excited about? I'd say at this point Aronofsky's project just with all the talent behind it and the secrecy surrounding it but I hope BULS surprises people and gets a good distributor behind it.

Pretty much in consensus with the comments above.

Seagull - best thing about it is, she is the lead, the title character (me thinks) and regardless of how familiar the storyline sounds, i get excited whenever MP plays the central character. How many more times is that likely to happen at this point?

Wizard - thinking Levinson's take will be the definitive one. Smart for HBO to hold it until 2017. allowing the ABC version to fade away and be forgotten. Could be just the role to nab her an Emmy nom.

Untitled DA Project - betting this is ensemble playing at its very best with substantive roles for all five main cast members. Agree with the thinking that MP would not have signed on if this were just a showy / extended cameo a la Ryder in BS or Debra Winger in the overcooked Rachel Getting Married with Anne Hathaway. If the script and direction live up to expectations. this could be one of the major film events of 2017. Fingers crossed.
