Lynch was a true original, an artist and auteur. What a massive loss..

A truly great and unique artist. And, I still think his "Dune" was the best "Dune" adaptation.

I saw this coming, dude had emphysema from a lifetime of chain-smoking and copious caffeine.

David Lynch was the best film director ever. Nobody could utterly transport you to new inner worlds like this genius, it’s almost as if he had a lightning rod to the divine.

A titan of cinema fell today.

I always hoped that Hollywood would change due to his popularity, but unfortunately they keep sticking to their safe formulas while the one shining light just went out.

I had truly hoped that by the time he passed there would be dozens like him in Hollywood, but no, nothing.

RIP

Damn, he did one of my favorites, The Straight Story. RIP
