Better than Eastwood

Ron Howard is so good and very underated it hurts!!!

He's better than Eastwood. Too bad critics always liked Eastwood more.

From Happy days to many masterpieces of cinema.

What a achievement!

Apples and Oranges. Eastwood is about 50's and violence. Howard is about people's connections and how it works.

reply

Eastwood is a punk that got lucky and then senile enough to speak with chairs.

reply

Got lucky repeatedly for decades while his bosses continue to hire him KNOWING that he is very much different, politically, than they are. That is pathetically stupid. Hollyweird hates right leaning people. HATES them. So, Eastwood didn't get lucky one time or a hundred times.

Clint's movies I've seen ranked IMO:

In the end I guess they are about the same to me. I give Ron a slight edge. Eastwood has had more films I skipped and/or hated so I give it to Ron.

I'd love to have a drink and a smoke with both of them but if I had to choose, I'd pick Clint. Both good actors.

Hands down Eastwood is a better director? That's what I think. Howard has done some great movies.

Sorry, but "Happy Days" was a cringe-worthy LCD sitcom, not an "achievement".

Eastwood's movies are less mainstream/CGI than Howard's, and more for adults. Howard is a typical Hollywood leftist, Eastwood is not. Many filmgoers allow this to negatively bias their assessment of Eastwood's movies. I doubt Eastwood worries about it much.

Eastwood by a mile.
