Whoopi Goldberg ‘livid,’ threatening to quit ‘The View’ over her suspension

Whoopi Goldberg is “livid” after she was suspended from “The View” over her claim that the Holocaust was “not about race” — and is telling co-workers she is going to quit the show, according to a source.

Goldberg, 66, feels “humiliated” at being disciplined by ABC execs after she followed their advice to apologize for the ill-conceived comments, a well-placed insider told The Post.

“She feels ABC executives mishandled this. She followed their playbook. She went on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ and then apologized again on ‘The View’ the next day,” a source said.
The source added that while Goldberg is taking the suspension hard and says she wants to leave the show, insiders believe she’s likely just sounding off.

“Her ego has been hurt and she’s telling people she’s going to quit,” the source said. “Suspension from ‘The View’ is like getting suspended from Bravo. The bar is very low.”

Reps for Goldberg and ABC did not return requests for comment.

Whoopi Goldberg, class act.

- Changed her name to a Jewish sounding name to, in her words, appease the Jewish people who run the entertainment industry.

- Claimed that Roman Polanski didn't "rape rape" the 13 year old girl when he drugged her and anally raped her

- Now this.

Usually the Left forgives its own even in atrocious cases.
This will be interesting.

They are already saying that she shouldn't be criticised because her comments are made from a place of ignorance, not malice.

I mean... If that's the standard that makes the difference, it's fine for racists to be racists by the left's own guidebook, because, as they routinely say about racists, they are being ignorant.

Goldberg is income oriented more than she cares about this show. She won't give it up even if disappointed in her treatment by ABC. She financially supports extended family and this low-brow gig is a piece of cake for her to do. So...she won't leave.
