I can totally see David duded up on a horse playing a past his prime gunslinger. His relaxed soft talking manner would suit that pretty good. He ever do any kind of role like that i missed?

His acting was extremely smooth and natural on X-Files but everything else I've seen him in it sounds like he's reading lines and can't act.
I overall enjoy him, but I think he needs to play only certain types of characters.
Right, he was great in the X Files.
