Who knows? But I recall Matt Damon -- who had been directed by Eastwood in at least one movie -- having to "show respect" to Eastwood after that event. Like "well, I can't agree with him on that, but clearly he's a great actor and director." (Two Best Picture/Best Director Oscars and all.)
I'd have to check imdb to see if -- after that RNC speech -- notable Democrat actors stopped working with Eastwood after that speech in ...2012.

So: hard to say if Eastwood lost HOLLYWOOD STAR support over his politics..or just his old age and loss of clout.
