Someone should tell Crowe

He does play his age. You know why? Because he is proud of his age. That was his point.

Why should he act only with women his age? Do explain.

BC even if women should act their age, Hollywood doesn't create many roles for older women. And it doesn't help that older men are frequently paired with women decades younger.

Then go complain to Hollywood which has a century's worth of consumer data to know what the public wants to see.

If the public wants it, then thats how Hollywood is going to do it. Do people want to see an old guy with an old woman, or, old guy with a young woman?? Not only are they usually younger than the guy, they are "hotties"

If people go see the movies with the young hotties, thats what Hollywood is going to keep putting out there. So...who is to blame here.

There are a couple of issues, its not just Hollywood/studios.

People obviously still want tabloids too. People complain about the tabloids, but uhh, why do they stay in business? Because people buy them. $$$

Create the problem[s].. and then later moan about it.

And Russell, I like that he talked about it, but I think what he said will just fade away. I think he cares, but how many others do and will speak up.....*crickets*

Hollywood is a fantasy-must be that dating a young girl is most men's fantasy. I date younger men sometimes. No big deal.
But for my fantasy I wanna see Fassbender or the like not Joe Schmo from the garbage collectors truck...
