THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING IS MY FAVORITE OFF YOUR LIST.

reply

It's a marvelous film, as is The Hill. He worked with some amazing directors (Hitchcock, Attenborough, Lumet, Boorman, Huston, De Palma, Spielberg), but with an even more amazing list of composers (John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Bernard Herrmann, Henry Mancini, Maurice Jarre, James Horner, Basil Poledouris, Toru Takemitsu, Harrison Birtwistle, John Addison, Richard Rodney Bennet, and Quincy Jones)

reply

Glad you put Outland on there. It tends to get a bad rap but is a good one.

Meteor sure belongs in the "guilty pleasure" bin but Never Say Never Again - I thought this is a lot better than some other Bond films.

reply

The editing on Outland perhaps could have been tightened up a bit (particularly the climax), but the set design, music, acting and overall story are first rate.

reply

Is your list in order?

reply

Ha ha... No, that would mean Darry O'Gill is Sean Connery's greatest film.

Since I live in Vegas and I've seen it change over 40 years "Diamonds Are Forever" reminds me of how it used to be here. I like it I have it on Disc.

The Anderson Tapes (1971) is a good movie. I saw it in the theater when I was a kid.
