Had great music and a Brilliant performance from Connery.

De Palmas direction was great too.

A great "western" really.

He had that brilliant mini-monologue "The Chicago Way" - what a great piece of writing delivered by an underrated actor. Everybody who said he was "just himself all the time" or couldn't get past the accent missed out on appreciating the greatness of his style.

Morricone was my favourite film composer. Ecstasy of Gold...wow...
