Plus tons of superstars in their 80s, and lots of 1960s-1970s rockers in their late 70s or early 80s. I hope the Boomers have lots of Kleenex... they're gonna need it.

I agree... but it will hit them even harder because it was part of their formative years. Being from a later generation, it's hard for me too, but I mainly experienced these people only through cable and video... not quite the same as a movie-going experience.
shareHe probably didn't want to have to watch the new Bond movie.
Rest in peace.
He was spared having to see what they are doing to the character (allegedly).
He had swagger and charm, and brought that to Bond. Did any actor deliver that famous line, Bond, James Bond better? I don't think so. RIP.
R.I.P.
share>> thats like if Ian McKellen last film was a bomb
Ian McKellen's career is nowhere near Sean's, come on.
I would like to say it in Gaelic but I am not sure how..
Rest in peace señor Connery
Rest in peace, and thanks for the memories!
Connery was never a great actor, but he was better than a great actor, he was someone who made every movie he appeared in more enjoyable! He was fantastic as a testosterone-laden action hero, he was fantastic as an older man with a twinkle in his eyes, he was even fantastic in dramatic roles when he felt like taking one. And no matter what he played and what his character was doing, he could ALWAYS lighten the mood for a second with a quip or a little smile, just enough to charm us all for a moment. There was never a moment when he wasn't worth watching, and what greater praise is there for an actor.
Now Mrs. Peel has someone to keep her company😢
His Bond made me make myself the man I am today. I doubt I’m the only one who can say that. Sean Connery will always be the quintessential Movie Star. Rest you in eternal peace, double-oh-seven. Goodbye.
Rest in Peace Mr Connery.
He "picked" a good year to exit this chaotic world.
