An exploitation movie and advertisement for Target at the same time. An odd feat.

Just another silly John Hughes movie, only this time it features a gorgeous and busty Connelly.

Remove her from the movie and it wouldn't be remembered at all, even if I think it's as worthy as some of the other fluff Hughes wrote and even directed himself.

I enjoyed it and this is so true! I can't believe he wanted that horrible Molly Ringwald in this 🤢🤮🤮

I like it but I dig movies where you have a laid back slacker who gets paired with an incredibly beautiful girl, and how their relationship develops over the course of the film. Those type of films only work if you have two good actors and a good script, which is what you have in that film with Frank Whaley & Jennifer Connelly plus Hughes writing their characters & scenes.

Candy's cameo is the icing on the cake.
