How Will He Be Remembered?
When he dies?
As one of the most important post-war filmmakers and writers, with a vast filmography of classic movies to his name?
Or will we all be obliged to piss on his grave, and will more people be coming out of the woodwork to denounce his name, despite the fact that this small, physically unassuming, utterly *unthreatening* and slight man, has no real systemic and financial power *other than* the immense cultural affection he, at least once, accrued on account of his *work* as a *self-made* artist (rather than a spoiled and thoroughly *ungrateful* whiny journo kid given the best education money could buy, and who, in return, has given the world NOTHING, but grievance, self-promotion and the self-serving spite of TEARING *far more* accomplished and *self-made* individuals' names down?) ๐
