I admit, sometimes I don't like leaving my house because....

...of how flawed the world is.

I know, it sounds silly. But with all the problems in the world, sometimes I'd rather be in the comfort of my home to avoid the outside world. In my home I can pretend problems don't exist through things like video games and virtual worlds (although I admit that is limited by the fact the Internet exists to remind you of those problems.)

I'm a homebody myself. We got about 4 inches of snow last night here in Columbus (Ohio) and there's a feeling of being "snowbound" this morning. It's nice and cozy inside...as much as I don't like Winter, the snow can be pretty if you don't have to go out in it.

I prefer to be home most of the time, mainly because I work overnights and on my days off, I veg out and play my video arcade machine I purchased last year with 3000 games from the 80's built in.. I've been playing a race game called "OUTRUN" from SEGA.. Kicks ass

Well, practical reasons. Like today, there is snow on the ground and it's too cold.

Other reasons as well. SOme days you just don't feel like going out.

That's about it though. It is true, the aggravations of the world will hit you when you go out - but there's nothing problematic enough to keep me inside unless I want to be inside.
