I Will Always Remember Bruce Willis & Cybil Shepherd For This Fine Adult Sitcom Of The 80's

And Bruce when he had hair as well.. He won't be with us much longer and for that, I'm sad watching this and would give anything to go back to the 80's as opposed to now in 2024 where everyone is divided over stupid shit and that was something we never had in the 80's.. Hell, even the people were different than now and it was simply better.. Anyone who lived through the 80's knows what I'm talking about??

What time of what night did it appear? Maybe I was hooked on another show. I like Cybil, is it being streamed currently?

reply

It's been a long time, decades, but I think Tuesday nights it was on.. I don't think MOONLIGHTING is streaming anywhere

reply

Moonlighting is currently streaming on Hulu.

I think he's pretty much gone in the ways that really matte already, according to what I've read. He's not able to communicate much and is a shell of who he used to be. Sad. Dementia is a horrible way to go.

I really enjoyed that show, I thought it was clever and Bruce and Sybil had wonderful chemistry. We watched it every week routinely in my home.

I preferred Magnum P.I. because Thomas' entire crew were badasses and cool but this was a close second detective series for me!

And a prayer and fingers crossed for Willis, he was such a great star and his affliction has got to be one of the cruelest.
A great deal more research must be done in this area of medicine.

just an FYI:
Moonlighting was not a sitcom. It fell into the Detective Show genre like Magnum PI, Murder She Wrote, and Simon & Simon, among others.

"Moonlighting" was a great show. The"Sam or David?" storyline was during my Senior year of high school. I think my favorite scene was where David was tailing a guy who was kind of an "upper-class snob." He would be shown driving his car with classical music playing. Then, when the camera switched to David behind the wheel, we heard The Temptations' "Papa Was A Rolling Stone." 😃 The contrast and those scenes were so well done, IMO.

It's too bad that they couldn't keep it going. It was a great show the first 3 seasons or so.
