"Harold and Maude" (1972).

Used to be a vastly popular midnight movie, back when theaters showed "cult classics" after the families had gone home, and "cult classics" were a going business. It's actually a spectacular movie, hilarious and profound, and IMHO it ought to be high on the AFI "Best Ever" lists, instead of just being regarded as a cult film.

I like horror movies but that one really disturbed me. It was crazy seeing Michael Rooker in that movie since I only saw him in the walking dead and guardians of the galaxy. He is actually a good underrated actor.

I went to Texas Frightmare a few years back and the director and his wife were there. I couldn’t believe no one was talking to them. Both were super nice and fun people.
