What did / does your dad do for a living
He's 75 and still works for network rail, he loves it.
shareMy dad passed away years ago, but mostly he was a salesman - life insurance, real estate, etc. However, for 3-4 years, he owned and ran his own archery range (his first love), complete with a pro shop and archery equipment sales. Unfortunately, his dream was cut short when the owner of the building he leased decided to sell. My dad couldn't afford to buy it, so he had to close.
The setup at that building was unique and perfect for archery. Besides an indoor shooting range for archery leagues and open shooting, there was enough land that he built an outdoor "field course" - kind of what a golf course is - with trails and multiple targets for shooters. One of a kind at that time. His loyal customers loved it.
