I made a short film...

And it's horrible. It's only one minute long. https://youtu.be/4PoZYnyVBjI
I was bored. Did it by myself.

reply

I actually enjoyed watching this - a lot of fun.

reply

I'll mention you in my Oscar speech.

reply

I promise not to slap you, lol.

reply

You obviously haven't met me yet.

reply

You might hit me back 🫨

reply

As Billie Jean said, fair is fair.

reply

HOLY SHIT!...THAT WAS KIND OF AWESOME!....IS THAT SPOOKY DOLL GONNA FUCK YOUR CORPSE NOW?...THAT IS WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE TO ME...FUCKING INTENSE.

reply

Might have to hold out for the sequel on that one friend.

reply

Very entertaining and a great use of available resources. Solid editing, too!

reply

I used a skateboard as a dolly. My brother flat out refused to help me. I'm kinda glad. It was fun trying to do it myself.

reply

I ALWAYS WISHED I HAD A BROTHER...MY SISTER WAS USELESS FOR FUN SHIT LIKE MAKING CRAZY SHORT FILMS.

reply

I wish I had an older/younger brother, I got stuck with a twin.

reply

OH....WOW...I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT POSSIBILITY...I AM A BIT TOO SELF CENTERED TO HAVE A TWIN I THINK.

reply

Nah, they are good for deflecting blame and responsibilities and shit.

reply

YEAH...I COULD HAVE USED ONE OF THOSE...I WAS AN ASSHOLE OF A KID.

reply

I still am. Bout to turn 31.

reply

YEAH...I WILL BE 42 IN A FEW MONTHS...MY DAUGHTER IRRITATES THE SHIT OUT OF ME FOR LAUGHS...I GUESS I DESERVE THAT.

reply

That an more. I assume.

reply

My twin bother made this when he was in highschool. It's legit awesome. https://youtu.be/cbzLhS2MaGE

reply

i like the kramer portrait

reply

I nice little easter egg for the fans.

reply

That was cool lol.

I must have a sequel👌

reply

I like these that have no CGI. 👍👍

reply

The practical effects were stunning. Maybe he’ll use stop motion animation in the sequels!

reply

Ain't nobody got time for that.

reply

Haha!
That does take a ton of time.

reply

Truth is I tried it. Spent hours to make the doll move like 1 foot. I gave up quick.

reply

In a High School art class we had to do a final project and my friend foolishly chose a stop motion project,
it was a hell of a lot of work!

He was so frustrated at the rate of progress he quit (but passed anyway, he had good grades overall.)

reply

So much for an easy A aye.

reply

Yup.
I attempted to videotape a version of The Most Dangerous Game with some friends out back in the woods. The battery died on the vhs recorder before we could finish and we couldn’t ever figure out how to make a toy boat convincingly sink in a bath tub.

It was a failed project lol.

If I had James Cameron money in High School it could have been Oscar worthy!

I played the evil Count Zaroff and managed a really half-assed Russian accent.

We passed anyway, that Art teacher was pretty cool.

reply

That's cool. Your art teacher was a pushover, but in the 80s, battery's be a fickle mistress.

reply

Nah, the cgi was just so good you didn't notice.

reply

That’s some advanced film making techniques you have going there!

reply

I teach a class. Only $99.99 for a session. You can buy in bulk though for ten sessions and pay $100. The savings speak for themselves.

reply

I will enroll in your class when you reach this level.

reply

That was awesome. Low budge, tv movie style. Fucken great. What's that off? Some anthology horror TV thing? I could watch that ten times over.

reply

Yes, a 1975 made for television horror anthology starring the beautiful Karen Black.

reply

From that jack Nicholson movie

reply

I love how many shots I can steal from this movie. It gave me so many ideas.

reply

I really enjoyed that. Better than half the movies I watch on Tubi.

reply

If it went for an hour and half you'd probably be ripping your hair out.

reply

I do like movies that get right to the point. 90 minutes isn't always needed.

reply

Makes sense. I've never watched a 90 minute porno.

reply

🤣🤣🤣

reply

The story was clear and got to the point. Everything was framed properly. There was creativity considering your limited resources. 8/10.

reply

I liked it! The grin on the doll while holding the weapon was spooky.

reply

You need to step your game up! LOL jk 😋😉
