Singers with no correlation - Round 3: Tina Turner vs Dolly Parton?

I always thought Tina Turner was a bit overrated. So even though I am not particularly a Country fan...

Tina Turner, more when she was with Ike & The Fabulous Ikettes. Her solo stuff sucked. Parton is iconic. But many of us balk at country music.

It's like I might listen to a Parton song and enjoy it. But I'd never tell anyone about it. That "Jolene" song is excellent.

One reason I've soured on Turner's solo career was that awful "Private Dancer". It was a very maudlin and ugly song about prostitution. I'm not sure why Tina lowered herself.

Dolly is the best in country, but country isn't exactly my favorite genre, so I think I'll go with Tina.

My response will surprise precisely nobody.

You could put any singer up against Dolly Parton and my answer would be Dolly Parton.

So, yeah, Dolly Parton.
