Quentin Tarantino drops out of new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
He was about to begin shooting until he found out "The Foot Clan" wasn't what he thought it was.

Good!
He has his merits, but he's the last person in the world who should be trusted with something that's supposed to be dumb fun.
This was a joke.
shareSorry, but you never know what Hollywood is capable of these days. Tarantino was for real involved in a "Star Trek" project, for instance.
shareTarantino also wanted to do a James Bond-esque spy thriller because he's upset they didn't give him credit for "Casino Royale".
shareI've heard that Tarantino has done a bit of script doctoring when he needs money, but not that he'd worked on a Bond film.
But the thing about being a script doctor is that you know going in that you don't get screen credit.
Tarantino knows how to sock it to the audience and toe the line. I wouldn't boot him from my movie.
