Same here. These days, 71 isn't necessarily considered all that old.

Remarkable eyes. A singular beauty and pragmatist. Too young to leave.

I did not like her when she replaced Shelly Long but I grew to love her and root for her escape from that cult. I hope she looked back without regret and with a smile on her ghost.

She was still posting regularly on Twitter up to the end of October. Then, only 2 posts in November, the last one on Thanksgiving.

Her children tweeted an announcement on her Twitter account, said she “passed away from cancer, only recently discovered”.

RIP - I liked her in Cheers and Veronica’s Closet.
