We've all experienced that enigmatic aroma at one time or another. Trying to define it, pin it down, I discovered the word petrichor. remember hearing once that there are supposed health benefits from the smell

I wouldn't doubt it a bit. It's just as pleasurable as catching a whiff of someone in the neighborhood grilling.

I also practice earthing/grounding (I'll leave it to you to look it up). It's supposedly especially effective after a rain, when the soil is moist, and it makes sense.
