I’m watching a crime documentary called The Ripper, it’s on Netflix.
It’s about a violent lunatic named Peter Sutcliffe that murdered at least 13 women and assaulted 7 others in England.
Strange case, he was considered a reasonable if slightly quiet loner, a reliable and respected co-worker at his job and he kept a tidy house and a seemingly happy wife. They say he was always washing his cars and kept odd hours but he just appeared to be a shy, polite sort, not very friendly but never rude. People who knew him well considered him a dangerous sort but that wasn’t common knowledge at the time.
The Yorkshire Ripper case became one of England’s biggest homicide investigations, bigger than even that Dennis Nielsen mess.
Every so often he’d just sneak off and brutally murder a woman, his motives are still pretty murky.
He targeted prostitutes or poor, vulnerable women as a lot of these crazy killers do…
Sad but true fact, The Law and the public pay no mind when a prostitute gets killed.
It’s almost like they are invisible but they are all someone’s Sister or Daughter.
But none of us seem to pay them any mind.
The Covid-19 took his life a couple years ago in prison.
I hope it hurt a lot and took it’s time killing him.
