Streaming Services releasing shows one episode at a time...
Is this driving anyone else nuts? My favorite thing about streaming used to be that they would release an entire season of their shows at once, and then you could watch the episodes as fast or as slowly as you you wanted. Personally, I always preferred to set aside several hours on a Sunday, and watch a whole season like one long movie. Now they all seem to be taking that option away by releasing half a season at a time, months apart, or releasing one episode at a time, weekly.
I'm home sick with Covid right now, so I have nothing but time on my hands for the next few days. Currently four shows I love ('Stranger Things,' 'The Boys,' 'Barry,' and 'The Orville') have new episodes out, but none of them have a whole season available to watch. It's frustrating.
Does anyone else hate this? I mean, if they're gonna release one episode at a time then what's the point? We're basically just back to what cable was.
