do you buy bottled water?

only when travelling

reply

My tap water tastes terrible. So I buy 8 gallons of water at a time and am thus somewhat prepared for an earthquake on a fluctuating schedule.

Most people I know do not drink enough water.
Bottled water use has the small bonus of making it easier to be mindful of your intake quantity.

reply

Only when travelling or working on a client site all day.

reply

Yes, mostly in summertime which is about to begin.

reply

Yes, Evian and various sparkling waters. I use filtered tap water to make coffee and tea.

reply

The halls of the many foods brings it to us.

🤔

Bottled water is one of the biggest marketing con jobs known to man. You're paying for what you can get free. It all comes from the same reservoirs as tap water. You think they're really filling up those bottles at the edge of a creek? 🤣

reply

Somehow it tastes cleaner. Must be a better filtering process.

I pay a water bill, it's not free..

reply

"Free" in the sense that you buy the water anyway and most of it goes for lawn watering, cleaning, showering etc. It's relatively "free" compared to bottled water.

reply

Gotcha

I only buy them in the summer for when we go on road trips . I like to freeze them the day before so we have nice cold drinks all day.

reply

I buy a lot of flavored seltzer water, like La Croix.

reply

Yes, we love the seltzer here at my house, it’s refreshing and no cal👍

reply

Remember seltzer delivery? In the Manhattan building I grew up in, some people got a crate of seltzer bottles regularly delivered to their back door. The empties would be picked up.

reply

Yes, my grade school buddy used to get multiple cases of soda and seltzer delivered to his door, when I was a kid that seemed amazing to me 😄

reply

I like that its gotten more popular, and now I can get fun flavors like pineapple, and not just lemon. It really helped me cut back on Coke/ Pepsi.

reply

Yeah, aside from using diet soda as an alcohol mixer I don’t drink the stuff very muck.

We found a new brand called ‘Aha’ which is caffeinated, that’s some good stuff.

reply

I've heard of Aha but haven't tried it. I'll get some to try. I can't stand the taste of any fake sugars, even the newer ones.

reply

We got the Fuji Apple/White Tea flavor here, 0% sugars, sodium and carbs…30 mg. of caffeine.

It’s very good if you sometimes get tired of coffee in the morning like I do.
