Pork Chop Hill (1959) - a good Korean War movie even though some of the actors were too old.

Gods and Generals (2003) - the most pro south civil war movie i have ever seen. i watched the near five hour version. it took few days.

Sophie's Choice (1983), in the middle of the night last night, when I couldn't sleep; was curious what the fuss has been all about. Yeah, overall, Streep was good but so were the other two main actors. I was unimpressed.
