Family Movie Night

There are tons of Old Movies that are excellent. It's up to the parents to show them to their children, otherwise they will only see movies from the year 2000+. Black and White and hand-drawn Animated movies are included as well. Is there a movie(s) you absolutely had to show to your kids?

Disney made some great non-animated kid movies during the 60s/70s. To name a few:
The Parent Trap (1961)
That Darn Cat! (1965)
Blackbeard's Ghost (1968)
The Love Bug (1968)
Escape to Witch Mountain (1975)
Pete's Dragon (1977)

Of course, the classics
Mary Poppins
The Sound of Music

Marx Brothers movies
A Night at the Opera
A Day at the Races
A Night in Casablanca

Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan franchise.

Frech movies:
Jacques Tati's Monsieur Hulot's Holiday (1953)
Any Louis de Funes movie. I loved them when I was a kid.

Spanish ones: any adaptation of 'La venganza de Don Mendo' (Don Mendo's Revenge).

PEOPLE TEND TO "NEED TO SHOW" MOVIES TO THEIR KIDS THATARE FROM THEIR OWN CHILDHOODS...MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN IN 2008...I HAVE SHOWN HER HUNDREDS OF FILMS FROM THE 80'S AND 90S...AS I WAS BORN IN 81.
