How would you spend USD $5,000?
share$5,000 really isn't much money. In the US that's like... a couple of hospital stays. So I'd probably put that away and save it for a rainy day.

wouldn't completely pay for what i might be looking at, but it would get me most of the way there.
Donate it all to that poor Nigerian Prince who is in prison and who can't get his hands on his money right now, the poor man needs our help! He sends me emails daily.

I love watches and the two I like best, a Concord and a Cyma, are both waterproof, so I swim, shower, and sleep with a watch on. I would be totally lost without a watch.

I too hear all the time about if you have money in the bank you are a sucker you should be investing and God bless those people but I have been stressed the fvck out broke. It's not fun. Its not somewhere I want to be.
I'd rather have $1,000.00 under my mattress, than invested somewhere that may or may not return my money.
