How far a drive was your video store?

Mine was 8 minutes growing up. Not bad if you're in the mood for a movie, a real pain in the ass if you realise you have a video to return and you're not getting anything out.

10 minute walk.
Now, I go to the library for DVDs and it's the same distance. I can renew on their website until I have a pickup.

Store called "Music +" in Los Angeles, 10 minute drive. There were closer stores, but Music+, Licorice Pizza, Wherehouse, etc. had bigger selection and. more importantly, more copies of the latest releases.

10 miles of back country roads. It was always fun going. You could slam a hundred miles an hour down them roads, nobody around to mess with you. It was right across from a liquor store and a small little grocery mart so you could bang out all your business in one shot. Be to town and back in 30 minutes, ready to party.
