Unpopular opinions only, what's the most overrated tv show right now?

Like name something that's on currently. You don't even have to hate it.

It might even be something that you like. A show that you think is fine but massively overrated & overhyped by everyone. Or just something that you're just sick of hearing about

I'll go first, Stranger Things. I genuinely enjoy it for the most part. I'm a 90s kid, so I don't have the 80s nostalgia thing. Also, the show seems repetitive. Kids investigate, Adults are always unaware of sh*t, The upside down is getting through, we have to close the rift, eleven does her Jazz hands routine

But honestly, everyone & their grandma make it seem like the best thing since sliced bread. Which I genuinely don't get

Shields Up.

Prodigal Son.

I find it boring.
Michael Sheen's overacting, the boy... Meh!

I roll my eyes at a lot of the scenes.

The episode when he was thrown down the elevator shaft, and he wasn't crushed because he found a skeletal head,
yeah, okay.

Not quite related, but how is The Simpsons still on the air? I think I stopped watching it almost 20 years ago.

I do agree with everyone who said Stranger Things. I liked the first season, and it wasn't just for the nostalgia. But seasons 2 and 3 just fell flat for me. I also liked both The Witcher and Shadow and Bone, but I didn't think they were "great"

Agreed on Simpsons.

My vote?

The Handmaid's Tale. Its popularity seems to be fueled by partisan fear rather than actual quality. The original miniseries wasn't much better.

I agree. I liked the book. I read it in the early 90s and I thought it was great. I also like the 1990 movie. I even liked the first season which was mostly based on the book. Once it left that, it just went off the rails a bit for me. I made it through season 2, and tried to watch season 3 and made it about 2 episodes in before I gave up. I don't understand why it's still going.
