Do humans deserve to be wiped out?

Agent Smith: I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you’re not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You’re a plague and we are the cure.

But then what would the Kanamits eat?

reply

no, humans don't deserve to be wiped out. and i wish anyone tedious to say so would just hush up and show us an example.

what humans DO need is to grow up. which will be aided greatly by the coming environmental catastrophe which, at some point, exceeds our capacity for self-serving denial.

reply

The environmental catastrophe won't change humans, we'll just build CO2 scrubbers and domed cities. Humans are the ultimate destroyers, what they'll leave behind is a dead planet.

reply

its a bit early to write off the human race. we've only been industrialized and populating at a vermin-like pace for the past century.

humans are adaptable. hopefully, we are not challenged beyond our capacity before we have the chance to have a good run. there are absolutely no long-term guarantees except ultimate extinction. the only real question is how long we last.

reply

Humans are the best and the worst. The best being conservatives. The worst being liberals and Muslims.

reply

derp

reply

Aren't Muslims basically conservatives? So you consider the worst to be both liberals and conservatives -__-;

reply

No. Can you name any Muslims who are Democrats in Congress? Now name some Republican Muslims in Congress. There ya go!

reply

Then nothing would exist anymore because no one would be around to acknowledge it all.

reply

In my own humble opinion, no.
