An alien child is evacuated from his dying world and sent to Earth to live among humans. His peace is threatened when other survivors of his home planet invade Earth and turn him invisible, driving him murderously insane.
You're on the right track. Some of my descriptions aren't quite in "first movie, second movie" order. For most of them I lift the descriptions of the two movies verbatim from their IMDB pages, then blend them as best as I can.
Close enough! There might have been a movie called "Invisible Man," but the one I was thinking of was The Invisible Man (1933) -- The Invisible Man Of Steel.
After the murder of his beloved wife, a man in search of redemption is set *adrift* in a world of thugs and meth heads, where nothing is as it seems, while investigating a series of murders becomes involved with a woman who may be the culprit.
When a young mother's home birth ends in unfathomable tragedy, she begins a year-long odyssey of mourning that fractures relationships with loved ones in this deeply personal story of a woman learning to live alongside her loss, picking up work along the way on oil rigs when her life isn't spent in a squalid succession of bars, motels, and other points of interest.
> You are doing some tough ones!! 😁(at least tough for me)
I'm ripping my descriptions verbatim from the IMDB pages, and it looks like some others are too. If all else fails, copy phrases directly into Google search. For example, when I Googled these two phrases I got the two movies:
When a young mother's home birth ends in unfathomable tragedy, she begins a year-long odyssey of mourning that fractures relationships with loved ones
picking up work along the way on oil rigs when her life isn't spent in a squalid succession of bars, motels, and other points of interest.
If I don't know either one I won't do it, but if I immediately recognize one movie but am clueless about the other I have no compunction about going straight to Google. To hell with ethics!
I replied to another of your posts and gave instructions how to fix your problems with IMDB; hope you saw that.
Bud Fox, a young and impatient stockbroker, is willing to do anything to get to the top, including apprenticing to Col. Guile, a ruthless and greedy corporate raider, as they and various other martial arts heroes illegally use inside information to fight against the tyranny of Dictator M. Bison and his cohorts.
After graduating University, Christopher McCandless abandons his possessions, and hitchhikes to Alaska to live in the wilderness, with two teenage girls who accuse their guidance counsellor of rape and then turn on each other.
> Again with the language on IMDB not in English for me. I see Mujeres al borde de un ataque de "nervios"
Here's how to fix that if you want to:
1. From the drop down menu at the top right of IMDB's home page, click "Account settings."
2. Under "Preferences," click "Content settings."
3. In the drop down menu for "Title display county/region," you probably have "Original" selected. Change that to the choice at the very top of the menu, a blank, then click submit.
You'll still get the original title on a movie's page. For example, this is one of the movies which caused problems earlier: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4536304/
With that preference set to original, the IMDB page title reads:
Né Giulietta né Romeo (2015)
With that preference set to blank, it reads:
A Little Lust (2015)
Né Giulietta né Romeo (original title)
So juts an interesting tid bit with this. I actually had to change it to the US to get the English titles. When I set it to Canada and English, I was still getting the original titles.
I guess that other option, "Title display language," matters too. I've got them both set to blank. When I left that blank but set country/region to "Original" I got the same problem you were having.
