shareSee Loving Vincent (2017). It considers the possibility that he was murdered. Surprise ending. The world's first fully painted animation feature, which received an Oscar nomination. Each of this movie's 65,000 frames is an oil painting on canvas, using the same technique as Vincent van Gogh, created by a team of one hundred painters. The work resulted in 853 different oil paintings, as each one was used multiple times, painting subsequent frames on the top of the original ones.
In the eight years between starting to paint and his death, Vincent van Gogh painted over 800 paintings, only one of which was sold in his lifetime.
