shareWhy do you feel that people avoid you here?
shareSpoken or written?
I assume written due to you specifically mentioning this forum.
But as has already been asked, why do you think youβre avoided here?
Iβve not noticed anything out of the ordinary about your English. Oh, and Iβm not avoiding you. π
shareI don't think so, I do not speak/write in English very good neither but I had not problems here so far for this reason.
share"I don't think so, I do not speak/write in English very good neither but I had not problems here so far for this reason."
If you want this sentence of yours corrected, it should read like this:
"I don't think so. I do not speak/write in English very well either, but I've had no problems here so far for this reason."
The main issue with your sentence is that "not" and "neither" form a "double negative," which is why you should use "either" instead.
ππthank you very much!! That with the "double negative " is a good advice.
shareHave some radio or youtube channels in the background. You don't need to pay attention to it, but have it. That'll help a lot.
shareI wish many people who were born and raised in the USA asked the same thing.
shareOh yeah, I've met many people who were born and raised in the US, who basically just chew up our language and spit it out, whereas you meet people who learned English before coming to live in the US, and they speak it better than the natives!
(Note: you can often tell an American's education level and class based on this, but there are exceptions to that).
Your English seems fine to me.
