I have some of the books on audio ( Poirot read by Hugh Fraser and Emilia Fox for Marple ) but mostly I watch the television series of Poirot and Miss Marple that I have plus a few of the stray mini-series like 'And Then There Were None'. I love all those beautiful little English villages and the scenery and how it always seems to be afternoon tea time. So very civilised, apart from all the murders.

I'm really torn on this because I'm not exactly sure who actually writes their own stuff.

I would say Carole King, but so often if someone changes a word or two or adds an ooh they get writing credit. This isn't me knocking Dolly Parton, but she has been known to do that so she gets writing credit on all of her songs.
