Question about online dating.

Let's say you're online dating one woman but there is another woman online that you're more attracted to and feel would be a better fit or match. What do you say to the one you're not interested in without sounding like a jerk? Or do you "ghost" the one you're not interested in? Seems common these days to ghost but kinda rude.

never do anything online that you wouldn't do irl...

You are chatting back & forth. You are not dating! If they are local ask to meet them (separately of course) at a coffee shop or to have lunch. Each brings their own vehicle. No addresses, phone numbers, places of work is off limits. You wouldn’t give a stranger this info. Also, what you see online could be completely different from what you think you know. Take heed on this!

To date someone:

“Dating” means you’re going on dates. You are actively getting out there and meeting people and spending time with them. “Dating someone” means you’re seeing somebody specific, with purpose and on a regular basis.“

I think "dating from home" an acceptable substitute for the time being.

tell her what's what lol

did u really needed to ask that here bc it didnt occur to u before? not trying to be rude tho!!

reply

It depends how long it's being going on. If it's fairly new, then ghost; *ting* Next! If you've both invested time in this, then I think it's only fair to have a conversation explaining why.

you have to be honest and say your interested in someone else but you have to meet them so you aren't 100% sure and can they hang on. sound like the true jerk you are. honestly, although online dating is a bit of a joke in general. fake profiles everywhere .. crazy. i don't really like meeting people who are meeting a million other people which would also be myself i boycot online dating go to kareoke or something better over swiping . swipe swipe boring
