Fair enough.
😎
I replied to a couple of your posts/comments, and you didn't respond back. It didn't bother me, BTW.
Sometimes the conversation's come to its natural end, or the other person didn't have anything further to add. Sometimes you've got a slew of alerts and it's easy to miss a few. Sometimes I read the replies but I'm not in the mood to post right then, and later I forget to. I assume it's one of these things if people don't reply back to me 🤷♀️
In theory, lovely, but if everybody respectfully replied to everyone else (out of respect, I guess?) wouldn’t that mean that potentially every thread would continue ad infinitum?
shareThe classic cycle of "thank you/you're welcome/have a nice day/you too" emails.
I hate it when that happens at work. I've completed your request now fuck off.
yes , if it was a computer program that rule would undoutedly lead to an infinite loop.
A little common sense must prevail as to wether a reponse would be polite.
I try to respond to all the replies I get, but sometimes there are so many that it's easy to miss a few. I think it's a courtesy to do so, but there are times when there's really nothing more to to be said on a topic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
shareI will always aim to, but there are times when I plain forget to even visit the site again for a while. I even assume that nobody would have replied to me. If I have failed to acknowledge anyone's reply to me, I apologize; it would have been honest forgetfulness, not deliberate snubbing.
