Schwarzenegger vs. Stallone vs. Van Damme vs. Seagal

I have't seen as many of Stallone's movies. Just Rocky 1, the Rambo movies except the last one, Judge Dredd (I won't watch that one), and the Expendables movies. I have always been a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger and his movies. Even his crappiest films are still entertaining to me just because of him being in them. I admit though I didn't see Terminator Dark Fate and I also couldn't stand watching Sabotage. Haven't ever gotten into Van Damme or Stephen Segall.

To elaborate on my earlier post Stallone always wins for me; he is a maverick who works on his films from the ground up as an actor, producer, writer and director. I have immense respect for the man.

As for the categories you listed samoanjoes:

As an actor: his deeply sensitive performance as Sheriff Freddy Heflin in Cop Land far surpasses anything from the other guys. I’d say it equals the best of Brando’s.

As an action star: none of the others would have been action stars had it not been for Sly as John Rambo in First Blood. He was the blueprint and the movie remains one of the most convincing and realistic in terms of the physical action.

Better movies: Rocky, Rocky Balboa, First Blood and Cop Land would all land in my Top 100 films. Arnie’s first Terminator is the only other from those guys that makes the cut.

There is a very clear and good reason why Stallone is the leader of the Expendables gang.
