***BAKER'S DOZEN*** - Frickin' Sand in Every Crevice!

Okay this one might be a bit difficult.
Science fiction or fantasy movies with a desert planet in it.

I'll start it off with a Frank Herbert trilogy I read when I was nine.

1. Dune (1984)

The thread is closed. I think.

Congratulations Mr Box!
You're up 😁
Wait!
No doubt the landscape in question is a desert. However it doesn't qualify as a planet.
I'm sorry. The thread remains open.

Which 1s are wrong?

reply

Moon (2009)

reply

The moon is made of rock which is sand in larger form. Sand is just rock that has deteriorated.

reply

True. No problem there. But it's a satellite and not actually a planet.
If I'm wrong let me know.

reply

I don’t remember lol I just knew the title. No biggie my boi! ;)

reply

I took it as deserted planet.

reply

I see. The requirement was for a "desert" planet, like the Sahara or maybe Antarctica.
Not "deserted" as in empty.

reply

Ya I’m a dumb dumb. No coffee in system yet.
