Taxi Driver. Best fim ever?
Nope. "Goodfellas".

I think ' Taxi Driver ' is a vile film. Right up there with ' Apocalypse Now '.
As far as gangster movies go my favourite would be ' Casino '.
Otherwise here are five firm favourite films of mine:
Now, Voyager (1942) - Bette Davis
Rio Bravo (1959) - John Wayne
Three Days Of The Condor (1975) - Robert Redford
Monty Python’s Life of Brian (1979) - It's...
Freeway (1996) - Reese Witherspoon
YOU THINK TAXI DRIVER IS VILE.YET YOU LIST FREEWAY AS A FAVORITE...YOURE COMPLEX.
shareI love the fact you can't fix your caps lock, its so you:)
shareYou make a valid point. I guess the difference is that I found ' Taxi Driver ' to be a totally repellent film with regard to the story and characters. As you point out the same could be said about ' Freeway '. But it is all done with such verve and flair and Reese Witherspoon is so hilarious that the film for me transcends its subject matter.
Taxi Driver is vile. What are we talking about here? Your taste or the merit of a film?
shareEdit your thread title dude, you typed fim instead of film. Taxi Driver is great, Goodfellas is a masterpiece.
sharehehe nice twist there. Me like.
shareLet’s just all agree on The Wizard of Oz. Everyone on earth seems to think it’s a great and fun film.
shareCalm down, Judy.
